The DeVicq Glacier is a large glacier in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It flows from the area between the Ames Range and the McCuddin Mountains to the Bakutis coast , where it flows into the Getz Ice Shelf southeast of Grant Island .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Lieutenant David Charles deVicq (* 1935) of the US Navy, engineer in charge the construction of the new Byrd station between 1960 and 1961.
