The Airco DH.15 "Gazelle" was a single-engine, two-seat biplane made by the British company Airco and an almost identical bomber version of the DH.9A . As a trial, it was equipped with a water-cooled 500 HP 12-cylinder engine. The first flight was in Hendon in 1919 . After Airco went bankrupt in 1920, part of the operations was taken over by de Havilland Aircraft Company , which did not pursue this project any further.
A converted machine was used for a failed flight to Africa.
