Dean Zimmerman
Dean Zimmerman (born April 8, 1974 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American film editor .
Zimmerman began his career in film editing in the mid-1990s as an intern and assistant editor. In 2007 he first worked as an independent editor for the action comedy Rush Hour 3 . His work includes more than a dozen productions. In 2017 he received an Emmy Award for his work on the first episode of the Stranger Things series . The American Cinema Editors nominated him for an Eddie Award.
His father Don Zimmerman is also an editor, as is Dean Zimmerman's twin brother, Dan Zimmerman .
