Deceiver of the Gods ( English . For scammers of the gods ) is the ninth studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth . It was released in Sweden and Finland on June 19th, in Germany on June 21st and in the USA on June 25th 2013. Former Candlemass singer Messiah Marcolin has a guest appearance on the track "Hel".

The title of the album and the artwork by Tom Thiel were announced on April 12, 2013. A day later, the album's title track was also made available on the band's official website as a stream and free download.
