Del Topoll (born October 21, 1933 in Durban , Manitoba ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who was active from 1952 to 1970 for the Cincinnati Mohawks from the International Hockey League and the Rochester Americans from the American Hockey League .

Career

Del Topoll began his career as a hockey player with the Cincinnati Mohawks , for which he was active in the 1952/53 season in the International Hockey League and with whom he won the Turner Cup in his rookie year . The attacker then played for four years for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens from the Western Hockey League , before he scored two scorer points, including one goal, in six games for the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League towards the end of the 1957/58 season.

Then Topoll was with the exception of the 1965/66 season, when he was active for part of the season for the Tulsa Oilers from the Central Professional Hockey League , exclusively in the Western Hockey League on the ice, where he initially spent five years for the Spokane Comets , one year for the Seattle Totems , two years for the San Francisco Seals , and 1966/67 for the San Diego Gulls , in the season 1967/68 for the Phoenix Roadrunners and finally for the Denver Spurs on the ice which he ended his career in 1970.

In total, Topoll played over 1,000 games in the Western Hockey League and the Quebec Hockey League. During his 18-year career, he scored 269 goals and 555 assists. Topoll was awarded the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame for his athletic achievements.
