style

Demonoid tries to process as many old school influences as possible . rockdetector.com described the band's music as a mix of death and black metal with thrash metal influences. According to the band's Facebook profile, Riders of the Apocalypse is based on a story that is partly fictional but also incorporates theological and historical elements. The texts speak out against the Bible and the Judeo - Christian teachings and see them as the greatest source of crimes against humanity. Michael Edele from laut.de in his review of the album that the band plays old-school death metal with modern thrash metal riffs and often reminds of the early Entombed . The album deals thematically with the apocalyptic riders , which the band has expanded with a few ideas. The singing is deep and growled . The song Wargods offers modern Swedish Death Metal, which traditionally also has light Thrash Metal influences. In the following Firestorms the Thrash and Death Metal influences are evenly distributed. In addition to fast songs, the album also contains slow songs influenced by Doom Metal such as 14th Century Plague . According to Metal Hammer's Anzo Sadoni , the band play death metal with black metal influences with the use of thrash metal riffs. There are also passages that are reminiscent of Dimmu Borgir or Dissection . The music is very different from that of Therion. The album is a " metallic hybrid of blackness, melancholy , melodies and death metal". The album is suitable for fans of Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth , Death Metal and Melodic Death Metal .
