Dennis Mimm (born March 18, 1983 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian football player and politician. He was mainly used as a right full-back or in the right midfield. He ran for the SPÖ in the 2019 National Council election in Austria in second place in the Innsbruck regional constituency and eighth in the Tyrolean constituency.
Career
In his youth, Dennis Mimm played at Innsbrucker AC and at the Bundesnachwuchszentrum Tirol, before moving to FC Wacker Tirol in 2002 . Mimm played a total of 130 Bundesliga games for FC Wacker and made it through from the Regionalliga West to the Bundesliga.
The defender moved to SCR Altach for one season in Vorarlberg in 2008 after the Tyroleans were relegated .
After another season at FC Pasching , Mimm signed a contract with German third division club SpVgg Unterhaching in August 2010 , but returned to his old club in January. In July 2011 he moved to FC Lustenau, to which he remained loyal until summer 2012. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season he moved back to the Bundesliga for SC Wiener Neustadt , which he stayed with until the end of his career at the end of the 2014/15 season.
