Density Records is an independent record company founded in 2007 that belongs to Vagrant Records and specializes in hardcore punk and metal and its subgenres.
The best-known groups that are or were under contract with Density include The Last Ten Seconds of Life , Cult of Luna and Oceans Ate Alaska . The latter switched to Fearless Records in the meantime . The first band to be signed to Density is the now defunct Canadian screamo band I Hate Sally from Kingston , Ontario . A sales deal with the German band Rammstein caused a stir . Their DVD videos 1995-2012 were distributed by Density Records in the USA.
