The Yavi Department is one of 16 administrative units in the Jujuy Province in northwestern Argentina . Yavi is located in the north of the province and borders Bolivia in the north, the Salta province in the east, the Cochinoca department in the south, the Rinconada department in the south-west and the Santa Catalina department in the west . The capital of the department is La Quiaca .
