The Samaritan - Deadly Finale (Original title: The Samaritan ) is a Canadian thriller from 2012.
action
After 25 years, Foley is released from prison. At that time he had to shoot his own partner under pressure because his fraud had failed within the criminal scene. Shortly after his release, he is approached by Ethan, the son of his partner at the time, asking him to help him as a partner in a multi-million dollar fraud. However, Foley refuses and tries to start a normal life. Foley meets the drug addict Iris. He can save her from being raped and gets closer to her.
Ethan now forces Foley to go along with his deal and threatens to commit violence against his new girlfriend. He tells him that this is his daughter. Foley can prevent the rape and must now agree to the plan. Since the female decoy fails because of a suicide, the much younger Iris wants to play as "daughter". The deal takes place in a shell and 8 million dollars are presented in cash. That money is supposed to be laundered and Foley plays the role of a wealthy developer. But since Iris lets the deception explode, there is a shootout between those involved. The badly ailing Foley then volunteered as a blood donor for his daughter and died from it. As the only survivor of the deal, Iris is now traveling to Brazil, it was her greatest dream.
