action

The prelude to this film with a particularly lurid subtitle, “a typical example of the genre of the moral and educational film popular shortly after the end of World War I”, shows some scenes from the first part, which focus on the fate of the young Änne Wolter stood. This girl trafficking drama is followed by another about the two recklessly behaving friends Ilse von Giersdorf and Lilly Gross. The two barely grown women spend their first night away from home in questionable company and so quickly fall into the hands of the nefarious girl traffickers Madame Duval and Ignatz Czyslow. Änne Wolter, the protagonist of the first film, is abducted to a brothel in Cairo, while Ilse ends up in Madame Forget's brothel in Valencia and finally ends up in Cairo as well. There, her parents manage to free their child from the clutches of unscrupulous girl-pushing gangs with the help of a girls' protection league, the Society for Combating Trafficking in Girls. While Ilse is saved, Änne does not survive the torture she has suffered.
