action

The pilot wanted to be a painter as a young boy, but his drawings were misunderstood by the "big people" and he could not talk to them about art. That is why he hides his inner passion and becomes a "reasonable adult" himself. He becomes a pilot and in the sky he experiences his freedom. But he still has no one to talk to about his passion.

During a test flight from Paris to India , the pilot had to make an emergency landing in the Sahara due to an engine failure. There he meets the little prince. The prince asks him to paint a sheep, thus reviving the pilot's old passion. While the pilot repairs the aircraft engine, various conversations develop between the pilot and the little prince. The prince tells of his home planet with the three volcanoes and the rose and of his journey to earth.

On this trip the little prince passed several other planets: the planet of the king who cannot live without borders and documents; the planet of the businessman who lives entirely in his world of numbers and is completely fixated on property and its increase; the planet of the historian who writes his story and truth as he wants it to be; the general's planet, for whom the meaning of life is to die in the "field of honor".

Finally, the little prince lands on earth and meets the snake here. The snake tells him that a single fatal bite from it could solve all problems. Then the little prince reaches a rose garden with thousands of roses. He is really shocked because his rose is nothing special on his home planet. Then he meets the fox, who at first is very shy and hides from the prince, but then lets himself be tamed. The fox makes it clear to the little prince that he is a fox like many others and that the little prince is a child like many others. But what makes them special is the friendship that connects them.

With his travel report, the little prince causes a change in the pilot's perception, which is really important. A friendship develops between the two. But when the pilot gets the aircraft engine running again, the little prince is homesick for his planet and his rose. When the pilot wants to fly home again, the little prince doesn't want to go home with him, but himself and uses the snake's offer with its fatal bite. However, he has to leave his body behind.
