Dere ( Turkish for Bach ) is a village ( Köy ) in the Pertek district of the Turkish province of Tunceli . In 2011 there were 95 people living in Dere.

Currently only the Alevi-Kurdish population lives in the village, who belong to the Pilvenk tribe. Until the end of the 19th century there was also an Armenian population here. However, there is no serious data to prove it. Church ruins were found near the village around the 1980s. However, it was not possible to determine what kind of church it was through serious archaeological work. International sources indicate a serious Armenian population in this region. No Armenians currently live here. This indicates that there was also forced migration of Armenians in this village.

There is no serious source for the history of the village. From the stories of the old people living in the village, it appears that a person named Mahmud Agha came from the Erzincan region and settled here at the end of the 19th century. The fact that names like "Bexce Memud: Mahmud's garden", "Goma Memud: Mahmud's farm" in many parts of the village reinforce this argument.

The presence of Koçbaşı tombstones in the village cemetery also indicates that the Aq Qoyunlu were effective in this region for a while.
