Aşağıgülbahçe ( Turkish for lower rose garden ), ( Kurdish Kurmeş ) is a Kurdish- Alevi village in the Pertek district of the Turkish province of Tunceli . Aşağıgülbahçe is located in a high valley at an altitude of 1035 m above sea level, about 22 km northwest of Pertek in the north of the Keban reservoir . Aşağıgülbahçe belongs to the Bucak Akdemir .

The original name of the village is given by the land registry as "Aşağıkömraş". The author Sevan Nişanyan, however, gives the earlier name as Kumreş, which is of Kurdish origin and means "Black Hamlet". The name Kurmeş is used by today's population.

In 1985, Aşağıgülbahçe had 688 people. For 2011 the TÜIK gives 100 inhabitants for the village. Numerous former residents now live in Germany. In 2010 many houses were empty or dilapidated.

Aşağıgülbahçe is connected to the drinking water supply and has a sewer system. The village school is closed. An unpaved road leads to the village. The main source of income is cattle breeding. In the area around Aşağıgülbahçe there are remains of an Armenian settlement.
