German handball championship (women) 1960

The third German indoor handball championship for women was held on March 12, 1960 in Münster. The champions of the regional associations South, Southwest, North and Berlin as well as two representatives of the organizing regional association West had qualified for the final round. The six teams initially played in two groups. The two best placed progressed to the semi-finals, the two bottom of the group contested the game for fifth place. The German champions became the RSV Mülheim .
