Devin Drobka
Devin Drobka (* around 1980 ) is an American jazz musician ( drums ).
Live and act
Devin Drobka, who comes from Milwaukee , studied at Berklee College of Music , where he received his Bachelor of Jazz Percussion in 2009, and from the late 2000s played in the formations Hanging Hearts ( Into a Myth ) (2017, with Chris Weller , Cole DeGenova ), Superluminal and in the Lesser Lakes Trio (with John Christensen, Jamie Breiwick). He was a member of the Jerry Bergonzi quartet for three years . He also played with Ben Powell, Kyle Nasser ( Restive Soul , 2015), Kenji Herbert ( The Way The Light Falls ) and Johannes Wallmann ( Love Wins , Fresh Sound New Talent , 2017). Under his own name, he and his band Drobka's Bell Dance Songs released the album Amaranth (Shifting Paradigm Records, 2018).
