Deyang ( Chinese  德阳 市 , Pinyin Déyáng Shì ) is a district-free city in the Chinese province of Sichuan . It has an area of ​​5,818 km² and has a population of 3,810,000 (2004). Your capital and seat of government is the greater community Jingyang . The Baoji-Chengdu railway line runs through their territory.

The city was hit by a major earthquake on May 12, 2008 .

Administrative structure

The district-free city of Deyang is made up of two districts, three independent cities and one district. These are:

Attractions

The Confucian Temple of Deyang (Deyang wenmiao 德阳 文庙) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-393) since 2001 .
