Dick van Burik (born November 29, 1973 in Utrecht ) is a former Dutch football player .

Van Burik started playing football at Ultraejectum Utrecht . He came to the youth department of Ajax Amsterdam via DSO Zoetermeer and Elinkwijk Utrecht . But since he could not recommend himself for the professional department of the Dutch prestigious club, he moved to NAC Breda in 1993 , where he made his first division debut. In 1996 he came to FC Utrecht .

After Hertha BSC rose again to the Bundesliga in 1997 , the Berlin team signed van Burik. In Berlin, the Dutchman played 245 Bundesliga games in ten years and scored 7 goals. In June 2007 Hertha announced the separation from van Burik. Both sides were of the opinion that there are various reasons for terminating the contract, which ran until June 30, 2008. Van Burik then announced the end of his career and expressed his desire to become a player's agent in the Netherlands.

Van Burik is the father of three daughters and one son.
