vjoon K4 supports macOS and Windows as clients . The database software is available for macOS X, Windows, Linux , support for Sun Solaris has been discontinued. Either a VPN connection or a web client (K4 Content Portal, K4 Overview, K4 KickOff) can be used for working at distributed locations. vjoon K4 can be used on premises or in the cloud .

The vjoon Storage Engine enables agile data management . With the vjoon Storage Engine, the production environment can either be kept in your own IT infrastructure, in the cloud or in the object storage of Amazon S3 Web Services .
