Dickenbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Stanz in the Mürz Valley in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district in Styria .
The scattered settlement is located south of Stanz and on the northern slope of the Hochschlag ( 1580 m above sea level ) in the Fischbach Alps . It consists of the hamlet of Hintereben and numerous individual layers.
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 66 building areas with 40,522 m² and 35 gardens on 41,731 m² in the cadastral community of Dickenbach , in 1989/1990 there were 66 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 215 and in 2009/2010 there were 136 buildings on 206 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. At the turn of the year 1979/1980, 308 hectares were used for agriculture and 906 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 176 hectares and 1,013 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 100 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 1,036 hectares. The average soil climate number of Dickenbach is 16 (as of 2010).
