His brother Serge makes contact with Marina and falls in love with her. When he discovers revolver cartridges in her purse, he begins to suspect Marina of the murder of his brother. Despite the suspicions, he begins a love affair with Marina and drives with her to the scene of the accident in Brittany. There he goes in search of clues. He wants to find the probably dead brother. During a dive, however, he finds a rusty revolver in place of his brother that fits the cartridges of Marina. He confronts her with his suspicions, but Marina denies everything. The flood eventually washed ashore a corpse that Serge identified as his brother, but later it was discovered that it was not Claude.

Claude suddenly appears again at Marina and wants to take revenge on her for the infidelity with his brother. Marina provokes Claude, he takes her violently. In the fight, Marina stabs Claude and buries him in the garden. She then escapes into Serge's arms and confesses to him. But Serge doesn't want to believe her anymore, because he identified the body in Brittany. The lovers are going to Italy. However, the body is exposed in the garden by heavy rain and the police track down Marina. When the lovers arrive in the harbor after a sailing tour, the police are waiting on the shore.

Reviews

“If a car crashes into the sea, the driver cannot be found, the beloved can save herself and now lives with the brother of the victim. Despite some improbabilities and showmanship, an exciting psycho-thriller. "
