Prince Erik, haplessly married in a marriage of convenience, falls in love with Kate Wenningx, the daughter of Senator Dr. Wenningx. He takes her to an island - the island of the lucky ones - that belongs to his property and spends some time there with her without worries. But this comes to an end when Kate's father calls the revolution. The revolutionaries march in front of Erik's castle and achieve the abdication of the prince. Thereupon Kate explains to her father the connection to Erik, who - horrified about it - rejects her. A year later, the jealous Princess Kate, who is now pregnant by Erik, tries to murder her. However, Kate survived. Her father chooses her in the hospital. A reconciliation is taking place.

“A film game with strong effect scenes, beginning promisingly in its first act, but ultimately not ending up to the cherished expectations. A little less might have been more in this case too. "
