The gambling den of Wyoming is an American Western by director Charles Barton from the year 1937 . The leading roles in this Paramount Pictures production were played by John Wayne and Marsha Hunt . The film premiered on December 10, 1937. The film was released in 1938 in the German Reich. The script was based on a novel by Zane Gray . The artistic directors were taken over by Hans Dreier and Robert Odell.

Dare Rudd is a roving drover who meets his cousin Tom Fillmore, a cattle owner and banker. He offers Dare assignments, which Dare only accepts when he sees Tom's friend Judy, with whom he falls in love. Dare Rudd does the job to carry out a large cattle drive, but loses the money he earned to cardsharps.
