action

Adrien was treated in a psychiatric clinic. She is fired on condition that she keep a country club job that a psychiatrist gives her. There she meets Brittany, who belongs to the upper social circles. When Adrien finds Brittany seemingly lifeless in a pool during a party, she reanimates her using mouth-to-mouth resuscitation . Adrien and Brittany become friends. They visit a beauty salon together, Brittany gives Adrien an expensive dress.

Thanks to Brittany, Adrien ends up in a circle of friends that includes Matt Curtis. Adrien falls in love with Matt, making Brittany jealous and later vengeful. She loosens a screw on the motorcycle of one of Adrien's colleagues who tries to warn her. An accident occurs and Adrien's colleague is seriously injured.

It turns out that Brittany was already killing her sister, whom she was jealous of. She buried the sister's body together with her friend Kelly. Brittany and Kelly take a boat trip while Brittany kisses her friend. The girls make out until Brittany suddenly throws her friend into the water. Despite Kelly promising to keep the secrets, Brittany drives away.

Adrien tries to talk to the psychiatrist who she owes her job about Brittany. She finds the man's body at the agreed meeting point. He was slain with her own golf club. Adrien is arrested and admitted to the clinic again.

Adrien flees the clinic. She gives Brittany a ring similar to the one Brittany's sister wore during a party at the club. Brittany digs up her sister's body and makes sure the ring is still on the dead man's finger. Back at the club, she fights Adrien, who she tries to drown in the pool. The guests arrive and understand that Brittany is not the murderer, but Adrien.

In the final scene, Brittany can be seen looking gloomy in a mental health facility.
