Fleet patrol service and blocking network service
Royal Naval Patrol Service was a branch of the Royal Navy that operated small auxiliary vessels such as sea trawlers for anti- submarine hunting and minesweeping operations. It was manned by fishermen from the naval reserve, as was the lock net service .
