The Dietenbach is the half a kilometer long right source brook of the Nussbach in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate in the area of the Reichsthal community . It is often seen as its tributary.

The Dietenbach rises in the natural area of the Lichtenberg ridge of the North Palatinate mountainous region at an altitude of 356 m above sea level. NHN in a wood directly north of a small pond on the southwest slope of the Felsberg ( 442.3 m ) east of the local community Reichsthal, which is part of the Rockenhausen community .
It flows initially, accompanied by thick woods south of the fountain road some 200 meters to the west, then disappears into the ground and unites shortly thereafter at an altitude of 339 m with the Atzenbach said left source Bach Nußbaches .
