Dietmar Allgaier

Dietmar Allgaier (born June 11, 1966 in Stuttgart ) is a German local politician ( CDU ). Since January 5, 2020, it is district administrator of the district of Ludwigsburg . On November 15, 2019, the district council elected him in the third ballot with 77 out of 103 votes as the successor to the previous district administrator Dr. Rainer Haas .

Life

After graduating from a university of applied sciences , Allgaier first completed training as a business assistant . He then studied at the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg and graduated with a degree in finance . In 2007 he received the qualification “Executives in Financial Management”. From 1992 to 1996 he was employed in the tax office in Ludwigsburg, then until 2008 in the Stuttgart tax investigation department . From September 2008 to the beginning of 2020 he was also managing director of Städtische Wohnbau Kornwestheim GmbH and TechMoteum GmbH . Allgaier has been a guest lecturer at the Ludwigsburg University of Public Administration and Finance since 2018.

Allgaier is a member of the CDU . From 1998 to 2008 he was a member of the Kornwestheim municipal council , and from 2009 to early 2020 he was a member of the Ludwigsburg district council. In addition, he has been chairman of the district board of the Association for Local Political Affairs in North Württemberg since 2017. In 2008 he became mayor and 2nd alderman in Kornwestheim, and in 2012 first mayor . In 2019, Allgaier applied for the office of District Administrator of the Ludwigsburg district . The district council elected him in the third ballot against Heiner Pfrommer with around 75 percent of the votes to succeed the previous incumbent Rainer Haas after Gerd Maisch and Christoph Erdmenger had withdrawn their applications. He took office on January 7, 2020.

In his role as district administrator, Allgaier is also chairman of the administrative board of Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg , chairman of the supervisory board of Regionalen Kliniken Holding RKH GmbH, Kliniken Ludwigsburg-Bietigheim gGmbH, Orthopädische Klinik Markgröningen gGmbH (OKM) and the waste disposal company of the Ludwigsburg district mbH (AVL). He is also a member of the supervisory board of the Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart GmbH (VVS) . Allgaier was chairman of the Kornwestheim Municipal Orchestra from 1992 to 2001, and chairman of Rotary Hilfe eV from 2017 to 2019.

Allgaier is married and has two children.
