Dietmar Krause (born November 20, 1960 in Kleinpaschleben ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He has been a member of the State Parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since 2011 .

Life and work

Krause attended the polytechnic high school in Kleinpaschleben and graduated from high school in Leuna in 1980 . From 1980 Krause was employed at Kranbau Köthen and worked there - with interruptions in 1983 and 1984 when he was doing his basic military service - until 1992. After two years as managing director for the CDU, Krause became an employee in the Bundestag office of Manfred Lischewski and from 1995 to 2002 then from 2002 up to and including March 2011 in the MPs office of member of the Bundestag Ulrich Petzold .

Krause volunteers as president of the SV Kleinpaschleben football club , as a member of the Köthener Blech trombone choir and as a member of the Trinum , Zabitz and Thurau parish council . Krause is a Protestant, married and has one son.

Krause joined the CDU on March 1, 1985 . From 1990 he was chairman of the CDU local association Zabitz. From 1993 to 1994 he was the managing director of the CDU district associations in Zerbst and Köthen. In 1995 he became a member of the CDU district executive.

In 1990 Krause became a council member in Zabitz (Osternienburger Land) . As a member of the district council of the former Köthen district, he was a member of the parliamentary committee, a member of the building committee and chairman of the committee for the environment and agriculture. In the council of the unified community of Osternienburger Land, Krause was chairman of the parliamentary group of CDU and Free Voters .

When Erich Reichert did not run for the state parliament again for reasons of age, Krause was nominated on March 12, 2010 as the successor to the CDU state parliament candidate in constituency 23 ( Zerbst ). In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt on March 20, 2011 , he won the direct mandate with 32.4% of the first votes . He has been a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament since April 19, 2011. Krause has been a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since April 1, 2011. There he is a member of the Committee on Home Affairs and Sport , the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs and the 13th parliamentary committee of inquiry . He is the sports policy spokesman for his parliamentary group.
