The church was originally located a little outside in the village of Scharwegk, until a new church was built in 1781 and inaugurated in the presence of Prince Karl Georg Lebrecht von Anhalt-Köthen .

In Kleinpaschleben there was the so-called Bieler'sche Gutut , which was owned by the domain tenant and landowner Oberamtmann (Johann) Christoph Gottfried Bieler (* 1743 in Baasdorf , † 1808 in Kleinpaschleben) and his wife Sophie (Christina) Wilhelmine Erxleben (* 1748 in Großbadegast , † 1820 in Kleinpaschleben) was operated. Sophie Wilhelmine Erxleben who, as the mother of 9 sons and daughters at his grave, weeps for her righteous husband and father ”.

In the early 19th century there was a soap factory in Kleinpaschleben (Grünsiederei). Around 1830 there were 73 houses with 467 inhabitants.
