Dietrich Kerlen
Dietrich Kerlen (born April 13, 1943 in Posen , † August 14, 2004 in Jena ) was a German book scholar.
Life
He studied theology, philosophy and art history in Tübingen , Zurich ( doctorate 1968 on Luther and Erasmus for Dr. theol. ), Heidelberg , Stuttgart (PhD phil Dr. In 1976 with a thesis on Kant's philosophy of law) and Munich . He was then a publishing editor at Klett-Cotta for 13 years and a member of the management team at Bertelsmann / Gütersloher Verlagshaus for five years . In 1995 he was appointed professor for book studies and book economics in Leipzig .
