Dilmo Franco de Campos

Dilmo Franco de Campos (born March 15, 1972 in Formosa , Goiás ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Anápolis .

Life

Dilmo Franco de Campos studied at the Seminary of the Archdiocese of Brasilia and received the sacrament of ordination for the Diocese of Formosa on January 10, 1998 .

After serving in two parishes, he was cathedral priest at the cathedral of the Diocese of Formosa from 1999 to 2002 and again from 2008 to 2015 . From 2003 to 2005 he studied in Rome moral theology and obtained the Licentiate at the Pontifical Gregorian University . He then worked temporarily in the Brazilian community in London . In the Diocese of Formosa he coordinated the theological studies for laypeople and was a member of the Council of Priests and the College of Consultors of the Diocese. He was also responsible for family pastoral care and worked as a diocesan economist. Until his appointment as auxiliary bishop he was Regens of the seminary of the Archdiocese of Goiânia , where he already worked from 2006 to 2007.

On 27 November 2019 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Ita and auxiliary bishop in Anápolis. He received his episcopal ordination on January 25 of the following year in the Cathedral of Formosa.
