The Dimov Gate (English; Bulgarian Димова порта Dimowa porta ) is an icy, 300 m wide and 550 m high mountain pass on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It runs northwest of Mount Bowles and southeast of Hemus Peak and represents the transition from the Perunika Glacier in the southwest to the catchment area of the Kaliakra Glacier in the northeast and the area north of Mount Bowles.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 1997 after the Bulgarian geologist Dimo Dimow, who from 1993 worked in several campaigns at the St. Kliment-Ohridski station .
