Dina Boesch

Dina Bösch (born May 28, 1960 in Bremerhaven ) is a German trade unionist and qualified pedagogue . From October 2007 to 2015 she was a member of the federal board of the United Services Union (ver.di). She was on the supervisory board of Munich Re .

Life

Dina Bösch was born in Bremerhaven . After high school , she in 1980 at the High School Wesermünde took off, she studied adult education and extracurricular youth education at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover. After graduating as a qualified pedagogue in 1988, she worked until 1990 as a consultant for youth education in the Lower Saxony-Bremen district of the German Employees' Union (DAG). At the DAG federal executive she was from 1990 to 1993 an advisor in the federal youth leadership, from 1993 to 1996 an advisor in the federal women's department. In addition, she was elected to the works council at the DAG headquarters in 1994 , where she represented the interests of the DAG employees. In 1996 she took over the management of the DAG training center in Walsrode (Lower Saxony), which has been a training facility of this union since 2001 when ver.di was founded . In April 2007 she became deputy regional manager in the ver.di regional district of Hamburg with responsibility for the areas of education, member service, women, senior citizens , youth, as well as lesbians and gays . The union fight against right-wing extremism also fell within their remit . At the ver.di federal congress in October 2007, she was elected to the federal board for the first time with 85.5 percent of the delegate votes. There she was u. a. entrusted with responsibility for trade union education and the ver.di educational institutions. She was re-elected at the 2011 Federal Congress.

Since October 1, 2015, Dina Bösch has been the managing director of the German Employee Academy (DAA).
