Dionicio Cerón

Dionicio Cerón (born October 9, 1965 ) is a former Mexican long-distance runner who was particularly successful in the marathon .

In 1990 he set a world record in the half marathon in Philadelphia with 1:00:46 . A year later, he finished second in the Rotterdam Marathon .

In 1992 he won the Beppu-Ōita marathon in 2:08:36 , in 1993 he won the Rotterdam marathon and the Fukuoka marathon , in which he was fourth in the previous year, in the world best time of 2:08:51, and by From 1994 to 1996 he won the London Marathon three times in a row , in 1995 he set his personal best with 2:08:30.
