Dirck van Delen , (* around 1605 in Heusden ; † May 16, 1671 in Arnemuiden ), was a Dutch painter .
life and work
Dirck van Delen trained under the influence of Frans Hals , and was resident in Arnemuiden in Zeeland since 1626 , where he was also mayor.
His architectural pieces, dated from the late 1920s, are not common. He loved to depict sumptuous apartments, courtyards surrounded by porticos with adjoining parks, and the interiors of richly furnished churches in the Baroque style , those of Anthonie Palamedesz. , Dirck Hals , Pieter Jacobsz. Codde , including accessories .
