Stefan König (born September 21, 1985 in Plauen ) is a German actor .

Life

Stefan König was born in Plauen in 1985 and now lives in Berlin .

He had his first contact with the theater stage at the age of ten. Later, the roles Mephisto in Faust I and II and Amias Paulet in Schiller's Maria Stuart followed . During his school days he devoted more and more time to acting. He led the youth theater group of the local theater and also directed there himself. In the rest of the time, König played with the independent theater group in his hometown Plauen and later at the Volksbühne Berlin and stood in front of the camera as a model for various magazines .

Scarcely 18 years old, Stefan König moved to Berlin , where he completed the rest of his school days and finally graduated from high school in June 2005.

Career

In March 2005 he was one of the 12 participants in the Sat.1 Actors Class . The young actors completed a four-week intensive workshop at the University of Film and Television Potsdam . You have worked with a large number of well-known acting coaches and voice trainers from Germany and the USA as well as directors, actors and theater educators, including MK Lewis, Lars Kraume and Hannes Jaenicke . In the further course of the year 2005 followed his first camera experiences as well as the short film Solo by Oliver Dommenget. Since he had missed the audition at the drama school for 2005, König decided to take up another course of study and enrolled in "International Tourism Management" in Bremen .

Good times, bad times brought him to Babelsberg two months before he wanted to start this course . Since August 2005 he has played the leading role there, Sebastian Winter . At the beginning of July 2007 he had his last day of shooting there, as he left the series at his own request in order to develop further as an actor. The last episode with him aired on September 4, 2007.

The general director Thorsten Wszolek of the Mund Art Theater Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt am Main discovered Stefan and cast him for the role of Johann Nitter in the musical Mei fair Lissbeth (1996), which he composed, shortly after leaving Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten . The revival production was on tour in Hessen from November 23 to December 16, 2007 . In May 2008, Stefan changed his look by completely shaving off his hair. In 2014, König was signed again by Wim Wenders and was the face of the Unity Media campaign.
