Dirk Ahner (born September 12, 1973 in Horb am Neckar ) is a German screenplay and children's writer .

Life

Dirk Ahner was born on September 12, 1973 in Horb am Neckar. In 1993 he graduated from the Ostendorfer High School in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate. He then did community service. From 1994 to 1996 internships in film and television followed. From 1996 he then studied German, theater studies and modern history at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. Today the author lives with his family in Munich and has a son and a daughter.

Career

Working as a screenwriter

In 1999, Dirk Ahner's cinematic work began directing his first short film, Der Pakt . This was followed by the scripts for the horror film You Live Another 7 Days by Sebastian Niemann and, together with Stefan Holtz, episode scripts for television series such as Die Cleveren (9 episodes) and The Forensic Medicine (2 episodes). Also for the comedy Murder is my business, Darling he wrote the screenplay with Sebastian Niemann. Together with director Christine Hartmann, Dirk Ahner wrote the script for the comedy Frisch gepresst based on the book of the same name by Susanne Fröhlich . By Florian Becker Hoff's Roman wife Ella (2009) he created in 2013 for the screenplay comedy film directed by Markus Goller.

Children's author

Dirk Ahner's career as a children's book author began when he and Sebastian Niemann wrote the script for the film adaptation of the radio play series Hui-Buh, the castle ghost by Eberhard Alexander-Burgh . In 2006 he wrote the novel for the film of the same name, closely following the existing script. This was followed by two volumes by Jonathan Harkan and, since 2013, the adventure books Laden der Träume. With the previous volumes of the series Look, Who Is Speaking , he also addressed younger children from the age of six.

The author wrote Die Krokodilbande on a secret mission in 2015 for the student voucher campaign I'll give you a story by the Reading Foundation and the cbj publishing house .
