Dirk Andres (* 1970 in Düsseldorf ) is a German lawyer and insolvency administrator .

Career

Andres studied law at the University of Cologne . In 1998 he was with the work The integration of modern technologies in the operation in Cologne for the Doctor of Law doctorate. After his admission as a lawyer, he joined his father's office in 2000. He has been appointed insolvency administrator since 2001. Since 2007 he has been a specialist lawyer for insolvency law .

He worked on procedures such as those of the Hänsel Textil Group, the Heitkamp BauHolding , the German handball league club DHC Rheinland , the tour operators GTI Travel and Buchmal Reisen, the Iserlohn GmbH private brewery , Wilhelm Kirchhoff GmbH, Strauss Innovation GmbH, the Wollschläger Group and Pampus Automotive GmbH & Co. KG. He also worked as a restructuring and legal advisor at companies such as Telba AG, HDM GmbH, b.com Computer AG, ATB Schorch GmbH and suppliers during the insolvencies of Quelle and Schlecker .

In October 2017 he was included in the "Leading names in insolvency administration" ranking by the specialist publisher JUVE. The law firm was named Law Firm of the Year for Insolvency Administration in 2013. It is headquartered in Düsseldorf.

Memberships / functions

Dirk Andres is a member of the Cologne Insolvency Working Group. V. and in the Association of Insolvency Administrators Germany e. V. (VID). Since 2013 he has been a board member of the Düsseldorf Association for Insolvency and Reorganization Law. V. as well as member of the scientific advisory board of the Institute for Insolvency and Reorganization Law (ISR) at Heinrich Heine University (HHU). In March 2016 he was accepted into the Gravenbrucher Kreis , the association of leading insolvency administrators in Germany. He is a founding member of Forum 270 - Quality and Responsibility in Self-Administration e. V., in which leading restructuring consultants and insolvency practitioners have come together.
