Dirk Kruse (born January 6, 1964 in Geesthacht ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

Dirk Kruse grew up in Schleswig-Holstein and made in Schwarzenbek his high school . After training as a nurse in Hamburg , he studied political science , German and theater studies in Erlangen . Since 1995 he has been working full-time for the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation in Nuremberg . There he works as a literary and theater critic, moderator and news reporter, among other things. As a writer, he added the bibliophile gentleman detective Frank Beaufort to crime fiction. Dirk Kruse also works as a freelance moderator and lecturer at Ansbach University.
