Djamel Bakar (born April 6, 1989 in Marseille ) is a French football player of Comorian descent.

In 2006 he was appointed to the professional team of AS Monaco . In the following seasons he completed 28 league games for the club in which he scored a goal. For the 2009/10 season he joined AS Nancy, which he left after relegation from the French first division in 2013 towards Montpellier. He played here for three seasons and then moved to Belgium for RSC Charleroi . But just a year later, Tours FC signed him for a season. He was without a club in the first half of the 2018/19 season, but the Luxembourg first division club F91 Dudelange announced his commitment during the winter break .

National team

Bakar played for the U-19 , U-20 and U-21 of France between 2007 and 2010 . During this time he came to a total of 19 international matches and five goals.

He played his first international A match for the Comoros national soccer team on March 24, 2016 in the Africa Cup of Nations qualification against Botswana (1-0). In the meanwhile 16 international matches he was able to score one goal each against Gabon and Kenya .
