Django Lovett (born July 6, 1992 in Surrey ) is a Canadian high jumper .

Athletic career

Django Lovett gained his first international experience at the 2009 World Youth Championships in Brixen , where he won the bronze medal with 2.17 m. In 2010 he took part in the Junior World Championships in Moncton and was eliminated there with 2.10 m in qualification. In 2012 he participated in the U23 NACAC championships in Irapuato , where he finished fifth with 2.10 m. In 2013 he took part in the Summer Universiade in Kazan , where he was eliminated from the qualification with 2.15 m. In 2018 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and won the bronze medal there with a new personal best of 2.30 m.

He is a student of arts and communications at the University of New Mexico .
