The Djerassi Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Джераси lednik Dscherassi ) is a 2.8 km long and 1 km wide glacier on the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows south of the Goritschane Glacier , west of the head end of the Malpighi Glacier , northwest of the head end of the Mackenzie Glacier and north-northeast of the Pirogov glacier of the western slopes of Harvey Heights and the northern slopes of Mount Parry in a northwesterly direction to Lanusse Bay , in which it joins north of Venchan Peak .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named him in 2009 after the Bulgarian-US-American-Austrian chemist Carl Djerassi (1923-2015), the co-inventor of the birth control pill .
