Dobenreuth is a district of Pinzberg in the Upper Franconian district of Forchheim in Bavaria .

The church village is about two kilometers east of Pinzberg. The district town of Forchheim is 6 km away. The Hirtenbach flows past in the southwest, a source river of the Regnitz .

Dobenreuth was first mentioned in a document at the beginning of the 15th century as a clearing settlement "Obere Reuth" in the fief book of Bamberg Bishop Albrecht von Wertheim (1398-1421).

On May 1, 1978, the municipality of Dobenreuth was incorporated into Pinzberg as part of the municipal reform.

The place has kept its agricultural structure. The national road 2236 extending therethrough.

Branch church to the Holy Family

The Catholic branch church of the Holy Family was consecrated in 1881. The church is built in the neo-Gothic style and has the appropriate equipment. The high altar from the Bamberg Aufsessianum represents the Holy Family . The furnishings include two side altars (also neo-Gothic) and a Way of the Cross.
