Dolynske ( Ukrainian Долинське ; Russian Долинское Dolinskoje ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Odessa Oblast with about 4,000 inhabitants (2004).
The village, founded in the second half of the 18th century, is located on the bank of the Velykyj Kujalnyk in the southwest of the Ananivi district . Dolynske is the administrative center of the eponymous, 218.33 km² district council , to which the village of Krasne ( Красне ⊙ ) with about 100 inhabitants belongs.
Dolynske is located about 35 km south of the district center Ananjiw and about 160 km north of the Oblast center Odessa . Territorial roads T – 16–06 and T – 16–37 intersect in the village .
Personalities
- Vasyl Ponikarow ( Василь Андрійович Понікаров ; August 26, 1929 - May 16, 2014), Ukrainian painter and graphic artist, was born in Dolynske.
