Domenico De Luca

Domenico De Luca (born January 2, 1928 in Sfax , Tunisia , † December 16, 2006 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Domenico De Luca received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Naples on July 27, 1952 .

On May 22, 1993 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Titular Archbishop of Teglata in Numidia and ordered him to the apostolic nuncio in Morocco . Cardinal Secretary of State Angelo Sodano donated him episcopal ordination on July 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the official in the Vatican State Secretariat , Archbishop of Curia Giovanni Battista Re , and the Archbishop of Capua , Luigi Diligenza .

On July 17, 2003, Pope John Paul II accepted Domenico De Luca's resignation due to reasons of age.
