Domenico d'Angeli (* 1672 in Scaria ; † December 8, 1738 in Passau ) was an architect and builder of Italian descent.

Life

D'Angeli was born in Scaria ( Duchy of Milan ) in 1672 . Little is known about his early work. In 1713 the Passau prince-bishop Raimund Ferdinand von Discounta appointed him prefect of the court building and commissioned him to complete the new building of the residence that had begun in 1707. In 1718 he married Caterina Francesca, the daughter of Paolo d'Allio . Several children were born from the marriage until 1726. In the same year he also received the title of court architect with an annual salary of 300  florins , which, however, contained a prohibition on contracting bourgeois farms. D'Angeli died in Passau in 1738.
