Dominick John Lagonegro (born March 6, 1943 in White Plains , USA ) is an American clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in New York .

Life

Dominick John Lagonegro received on 31 May 1969 by the Archbishop of New York, Terence Cardinal Cooke , the sacrament of the priesthood for the Archdiocese of New York.

On 30 October 2001 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Modruš and auxiliary bishop in New York. The Archbishop of New York, Edward Michael Cardinal Egan , donated him episcopal ordination on December 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Buffalo , Henry Joseph Mansell , and the Auxiliary Bishop in New York, Robert Anthony Brucato .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on July 2, 2018.
