Dominik Löscher

Dominik Löscher (born March 30, 1877 in Vienna , † November 1, 1941 in Munich ) was an Austrian actor.

Life

Löscher began his acting career in Baden near Vienna . He then went to the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz , the Münchner Volkstheater and the Münchner Kammerspiele . Löscher worked for radio in Bavaria from 1924. With Karl Meixner he took over the management of the Landestheater Linz for one year in 1930 . The singer, actor and presenter Hans Löscher (1911–1999) was his son.

Dominik Löscher is buried in the old part of the Munich forest cemetery at Fürstenrieder Straße 288 (location 210-2-101).
