Dominik Friedrich Nepp (born February 14, 1982 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). He is Vice Mayor and non-executive city councilor of Vienna as well as designated state party chairman of the Vienna FPÖ.

Private

Nepp graduated from the Gymnasium Billrothstraße in Vienna in 2000 . He graduated from 2013 to 2017 at the FH Campus Wien 4-semester master course leadership, policy and management , closing it with the Master of Arts in Political Management from which not the same degree Master of Arts (MA) corresponds .

He is married to Barbara Nepp , who was appointed to the ORF Public Council in 2018 , and has two daughters.

Political activity

In the Ring Freiheitlicher Jugend (RFJ), Nepp was initially district chairman of Döbling from 2000 to 2003 , then from 2003 to 2006 he himself was chairman of RFJ Döbling. From April to June 2006 he was deputy regional chairman at the RFJ Vienna and from June 2006 to September 2007 managing regional chairman. From September 2007 he was regional chairman of the RFJ Vienna and from September 2009 to 2012 also federal chairman of the RFJ.

In district politics, Nepp was deputy chairman of the FPÖ Döbling from March to September 2006 and from September 2006 to March 2008 executive district party chairman of the FPÖ Döbling. From 2005 to 2010 he was district councilor in Döbling and has also been district party chairman of FPÖ Döbling since March 2008. Since the Vienna municipal council election in 2010 he has been a member of the Vienna state parliament and municipal council , and since 2015 he has been the chairman of the FPÖ state parliament club as the successor to Johann Gudenus . In December 2017, Anton Mahdalik was designated as the successor to Dominik Nepp as club chairman of the Wiener Freiheitliche; on January 25, 2018, Dominik Nepp succeeded Johann Gudenus as vice mayor and city councilor without a department in the provincial government and city senate Häupl VI .

In May 2019, as a result of the Ibiza affair , he was designated as regional party leader of the FPÖ Vienna.

Nepp is a member of the striking academic fraternity of Aldania.

In September 2019, statements by Nepp started the expense affair surrounding Heinz-Christian Strache.
