Dominique Ohaco (born December 19, 1995 in Santiago de Chile ) is a Chilean freestyle skier . She starts in the freestyle disciplines Slopestyle and Big Air .

Career

Ohaco has been participating in FIS and AFP World Tour competitions since 2012 . In March 2012 she started in Mammoth for the first time in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup and took 13th place in Slopestyle. In the 2012/13 season she came in the top ten twice in the World Cup and thus achieved seventh place in the Slopestyle World Cup. At the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in 2013 in Voss , she was ninth in slopestyle. The following year she won 13th place in slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . At the Junior World Championships 2015 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , she finished tenth in slopestyle. In the same year she won the Slopestyle at the Aspen Snowmass Freeskiing Open and took third place in Big Air at the Winter Games New Zealand in Cardrona . In the 2015/16 season she won at the South American Cup in El Colorado in Big Air and at the European Cup the Alpe di Siusi in slopestyle. In September 2016 she finished second and first in Big Air at the South American Cup in El Colorado. At the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada , she came 14th in slopestyle. After finishing second and first in slopestyle at the South American Cup in La Parva at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in Big Air in Mönchengladbach . This was followed by three top ten placements and third place in the Big Air World Cup at the end of the season. At the Winter-X-Games 2018 she was fourth in Big Air and at the X-Games Norway 2018 in Fornebu fifth in Big Air. In February 2018 she came 20th in Slopestyle at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang .
